Ministries of The First Pentecostal Church
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4
We offer ministries to the young and the old alike. We believe that the church is the hands and feet of Jesus in the world today. The ministries of FPC may be divided as follows:

Children back to top
From the beginning of life, there is a ministry for you and your family here. We offer to the youngest the following ministries:
Nursery, PowerHour, Children’s Choir, Jackson Christian Academy, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts
Youth back to top
They are known as “the crowd,” and we do have a crowd in the youth center for regular prayer and service geared toward the ages of 12 to 25. We offer the following ministries to this age group:
the crowd and Jackson Christian Academy
Singles back to top
SingleLife is geared towards unmarried individuals age 25 and older. The group meets as a class for Sunday School, “singlehandedly” supports missionaries, and attends singles conferences together.
Senior Citizens back to top
We call them “keenagers” at FPC. They are the young at heart, ages 55 up. Keenagers have special monthly breakfasts at the church and enjoy special outings designed for their generation.
Multi-Generation back to top
The church, as a whole, benefits from the following ministries: Word & Worship, Music, Sunday School, World Missions, and the T.L.C. Activity Center.
Special Needs back to top
FPC offers the following special needs ministries to our community: Deaf Ministry, Crisis Intervention Program, Red Cross, and Lighthouse.
